A vintage cedar-lined lowboy chest from Lane Furniture, dating to 1950. Features a hinged top opening to a cedar main compartment for moth-proof linen storage, a bottom cedar pull-out drawer, cabriole legs, and a scalloped apron with a carved shell motif. Finished in warm honey/brown tone. Includes original literature and is stamped with manufacture date May 3, 1950. Note: Lane locking mechanism removed per recall; top latch removed with lock hole plugged and rosset installed for a finished look.
