Leather Dining Chairs By Ilmari Tapiovaara For La Permanente Mobili Cantù, 1950s, Set Of 6
Available at
A set of 6 leather dining chairs by Ilmari Tapiovaara for La Permanente Mobili Cantù. Made in Italy in the 1950’s. These elegant chairs by Ilmari Tapiovaara showcase a refined beech frame crafted without the use of screws, along with a gently curved seat and backrest slat for enhanced comfort. The cognac saddle‑leather seat and backrest are thoughtfully fastened to the frame with subtle cut‑out details, providing excellent support and a pleasantly comfortable sitting experience. Overall good condition with small signs of wear. On the bottom of the seating area of the chairs, there is damage, see picture. This is not affecting the chair's structure. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution.
