The seat and back cushions feature a foam core wrapped in a down jacket for superior comfort, with removable leather coverings. The chair's distinctive stainless steel flat frame, with a longitudinal rail and skid-joined legs, is complemented by stainless steel accents on the armrests, creating a striking contrast with the upholstery. Originally conceived as part of an exclusive office furniture range in 1970, the CH101 series was relaunched in 2008. Hans Wegner, a pivotal figure in Danish modern furniture design, created this piece, showcasing his mastery of joinery, craft, and material.
