The Mar Vista Door Chest is a traditional wooden storage piece featuring a rich walnut finish with a textured grain. It is constructed from solid rubberwood and oak veneers, utilizing meticulous distressing, wire brushing, and charcoal glazing to enhance its appearance. The chest is detailed with substantial crown moldings, carved bracket feet, convex pilaster moldings, and signature herringbone wood inlays. For storage, it offers seven drawers—including velvet-lined top drawers and cedar-lined bottom drawers—along with additional shelved storage behind two doors. High-quality construction is evident in the English dovetail joinery and full-extension glides.
