ViewThe Wormy Stump is a sculptural wood stool and side table handcrafted from a single block of solid American ash or maple. This unique piece celebrates the organic materiality of the timber, featuring natural insect markings such as small eaten-away holes, silver-grey streaks, and ghost figuring that record the life of the tree. Rendered in a simplified, tapered form, it is finished without any toxins or coatings to allow for a natural patina to develop over time. As part of the Stump and Trunk Collection, each piece is one-of-a-kind.
