ViewBlack-Eyed Susan is a handcrafted wooden pedestal side table designed by Tracy Fiegl. It features a round top and a uniquely structured base made from solid maple, poplar, and cherry. The base consists of slender, hand-shaped elements joined with dowels and tenons, while the top and sub-top are lathe-turned. A distinctive visual detail is the sub-top, which is hand-textured with carving gouges and finished in black milk paint, creating a striking contrast with the natural light wood tones of the rest of the piece. The table is finished with wipe-on polyurethane for durability.
