Inspired by the naturalism of 1960s Cinema Verite, this console table embodies sophisticated, casual contemporary style through authentic materials and clean architectural lines. The design features a stunning top crafted from random planks of sawn 5mm European White Oak veneers, showcasing natural aging characteristics like knots and season splits. This wood is contrasted beautifully against a base of distressed aluminum with an antiqued gun metal finish. A special water-based topcoat, typically used in residential flooring, provides exceptional protection while maintaining the wood's natural look and coloration. The thick end grains are cut to 10mm to further highlight the material's organic beauty.
