The Bonnie Armchair is a contemporary reissue of a 1975 Pierre Paulin design, known as models 500 and 500/2. It features a strikingly comfortable seating shell that hugs the human body with rounded lines, a steel wire and mesh frame clad in injected foam, and a high‑resilience polyurethane Bultex foam filling. The chair comes in a range of stretch‑jersey fabrics, with the most common offering being a bright red‑orange fabric that gives the piece a lively, eye‑catching look. The seat, integral armrests and backrest are all upholstered in soft, plush fabric; the upholstery can be removed by an upholsterer for cleaning. A matte black lacquered MDF base is available, as is a slim black steel base that rotates back to its original position. The armchair is 31 in. high, 37 in. wide, and 37 in. deep, with a seat height of 14 in. It applies to adults of any gender.
