A set of six rare, vintage side chairs designed by Georg Leowald for Wilkhahn in the 1960s. These chairs feature a distinctive chrome-plated steel sled base, bent plywood seat shells with a visible wood grain finish (appearing olive green/dark wood tone), and comfortable black upholstered seats. The set has been completely reupholstered and is noted to have one chair with minor chrome loss. The design is characteristic of Mid-Century Modern and Minimalist styles, and they are noted to be stackable.
