A striking executive desk designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, dating back to the 1950s. It features a rich walnut construction contrasted with sculpted inset drawer pulls made of rosewood and supported by brass shoes. This particular model is a scarcely seen shorter version of the 811, providing extensive storage across two banks of drawers and a central lockable pencil drawer. A removable woven cane privacy screen is suspended by brass spacers, though it shows some light cane loss. The piece has been refinished and is in very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear.
