The iconic Hudson Swivel Armchair, a result of the first collaboration between Emeco and Philippe Starck, originally designed for the Hudson hotel in New York City. This chair takes inspiration from the classic Navy Chair but refines its detailing. The chair itself is crafted from recycled aluminum, which is naturally fireproof, and requires an additional 8 hours of hand-polishing for the brushed aluminum finish shown here. This specific configuration includes the chair with a Brushed Aluminum finish and an optional seat pad upholstered in Kvadrat Haku 0181 Dark Grey fabric. The seat pad features a handmade construction using 100% recycled plastic substrates and fire-rated, CAL 133 compliant foam.
