ViewAn exquisite, circa 1980s Baker Furniture server featuring Neoclassical and French Empire influences. This piece is crafted from mahogany, highlighted by flame (crotch) mahogany door fronts with intricate inlay work. It features decorative acanthus-carved, fluted gilt and ebonized columns resting on ribbed bun feet. The top flips open to create an expanded black Formica serving surface. The lower section contains a felt-lined dovetailed drawer above two storage shelves. It includes original Baker paper tags and a metal plate inside the drawer.
