An antique Chinese curio cabinet, likely crafted in Southeast China during the early 20th century. This substantial piece of furniture is constructed from wood, finished with a dark brown lacquer coating, described as Sienna in color, which shows expected patina and some fading. It features a highly detailed upper section with staggered display shelves, ideal for showcasing art objects, and numerous small drawers for storing delicate items like jades and seals. The lower section consists of two large storage doors. While the piece exhibits traditional Chinese style elements, some metal fittings are noted as replacements.
