This is a limited-edition Stool 60 created as a collaboration between Artek and Marimekko. It features a birch veneer seat top with Maija Isola's iconic Kivet pattern, created using marquetry. The contrasting wood grains create a shimmering effect. Made from Finnish birch at Artek's Turku factory, the direction of the surface veneer varies, making each stool unique. This stool combines Alvar Aalto's 1933 "L-leg" design with Marimekko's Kivet print.
