This piece is inspired by a circa 1760 Philadelphia Chippendale lowboy originally found in the Governor's Palace. It features dark mahogany wood, four dovetailed drawers with solid brass bail handles, fluted columns on the sides, and highly detailed carved cabriole legs that terminate in distinctive claw and ball feet. The apron below the drawers is also carved.
