A sleek and simple dining chair designed by Ronan Bouroullec for Vaarnii. The 016 Maasto Dining Chair features a solid Scots Pine frame with a deep black stain that allows the wood's natural grain to show through. This upholstered version includes comfortable cushioning on both the seat and back, secured with concealed metal clips and screws for a seamless profile. The chair's construction emphasizes strength and simplicity, with plywood sides for reduced bulk and durability. The pine material will develop character over time with natural aging, such as dents and scratches, which are considered signs of its unique journey.
