This Jarvis Laminate Standing Desk from Herman Miller is designed to promote wellness and movement by allowing users to easily switch between sitting and standing positions throughout the workday. The desk features a durable, scratch-resistant, and waterproof laminate tabletop that is Greenguard gold certified. The core of the tabletop is made from a high-density particle board comprised of at least 84% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber, and it's joined with a low-VOC, zero urea-formaldehyde water-based adhesive that is also Greenguard certified. Users can adjust the height of the desk using either a simple up-down touch handset or a more advanced OLED programmable handset, which displays the current height and allows for saving four preferred positions. The desk has a lift speed of 1.5 inches per second and a weight capacity of 350 lbs, operating at a noise level below 50 dB. It is available with or without a powered grommet for convenient device charging directly on the desktop. The frame is made of powder-coated steel.
