ViewA Mid‑Century Modern classic, Mr. Chair and matching ottoman by George Mulhauser for Plycraft. This chair features walnut, molded plywood and tufted yellow Naugahyde upholstery. The chair and ottoman are in good vintage condition. The chair is mostly original but has a newly replaced Flo Tilt mechanism to give firm support, while allowing the swivel chair to function properly. New shock mounts were added as well to protect the molded plywood and walnut shell. The Naugahyde – often referred to as “coin gold” – is mostly original with minor scuffs. The chair is very comfortable and the ottoman swivels separate from the base via a rod or pedestal.
