ViewA striking postmodern coffee table, the Marcuso model, designed by Marco Zanuso for Zanotta in the late 1960s. It features a substantial 15mm thick clear glass tabletop with subtly rounded corners, supported by four cylindrical stainless steel legs. The legs are intentionally recessed from the edge and feature black joints framing their adhesive surface on the underside of the glass. Plastic gliders on the base create a visual shadow gap, lifting the piece slightly off the floor. This iconic Italian design piece is in very good vintage condition, showing expected patina and some scratches on the glass surface.
