ViewA pair of vintage mid-century modern Danish armchairs, designed by John Sylvester and Jørgen Matz for Bramin circa 1960s. These chairs feature frames constructed from solid afromosia wood, which displays a rich color similar to black walnut with grain characteristics reminiscent of teak and rosewood. They have highly sculpted arms likened to an airplane wing, delicate stiletto tapering on the front legs, and aggressively angled rear legs. The chairs have been professionally refinished and reupholstered in a dark gray, textured slate leather from Edelman's Modernaya collection. They are versatile enough for use as dining captain's chairs or as accent lounge seating. Note: One chair retains the original Bramin stamp underneath.
